New Brunswick Interior Designers
What is an Interior Designer?
In order to represent to the public the correct definition of "Interior Designer", the practising professionals in the Province of New Brunswick sought to adopt the title of “Registered Interior Designer". The Provincial legislation was enacted in June 1987. Since then, the Interior Designers of New Brunswick have sought and received royal assent with Bill 63 to amend that act and now have a Practice Act (May 2017)
To the public this translates into the assurance that a person legally holding the title "Interior Designer" would be an active member of the Interior Designers of New Brunswick and as such, be duly qualified by education, experience and examination in the professional field of interior design.
Such are the prerequisites of becoming a professional member of IDNB.
